Testing Procedures Blinn College Office of Disability Services
Scheduling:
- Students in need of a reader, scribe, or proctor should send course exams dates for the semester to the Office of Disability Services in advance.
- Due to limited space, students must schedule exams and quizzes at least three days in advance, preferably one week.
- Advance notice allows for scheduling changes and ample time for Instructors to submit exams to The Office of Disability Services.
- Please note Instructors must submit exams to the Office of Disability Services. Faculty may submit their exams utilizing the offices online Instructor Test Proctor form. Students are not permitted to submit exams or quizzes.
- If a student wishes to change scheduled testing times, s/he must first receive approval from the Instructor. Instructors should contact the Office of Disability Services regarding changes.
Testing Locations:
- It is the responsibility of the student to communicate to his/her Instructor the time and date of exams and testing location.
Bryan Campus:
- Students who require a reader or scribe may testing in the Office of Disability Services.
- Students must contact the ODS to schedule their exams in advance.
- Students on file with ODS have the option of testing in the Learning Center. Please contact their office to determine walk-in hours or appointment requests at bryanlc@cnof86.com.
- Bryan campus students testing in the Learning Center are not required to submit a syllabus to the Office of Disability Services. Students must contact the Learning Center to reserve smaller group testing rooms.
Brenham Campus:
- Students must contact the Office of Disability Services to schedule their exams and quizzes.
- Students who require a reader or scribe will be testing in the Office of Disability Services.
RELLIS Campus:
- Students with documented disabilities may test in the Office of Disability Services (ODS). Students must contact the ODS to schedule their exams.
- Students on file with ODS have the option of testing in the Learning Center on the first floor. Please contact their office to determine walk-in hours or appointment requests at rellis.lc@cnof86.com.
- Students who require a reader or scribe will be testing in the Office of Disability Services.
